    FREEDOM - posters

At the beginning of 2008, first-year and second-year graphic design students and first-year students of the photography department were asked to design a poster based on the theme FREEDOM, this year also the theme of The Hague Sculpture. Of the approximately 130 posters produced, a selection can be viewed in The Affiche Galerij [The Poster Gallery]. The posters are very diverse, exuberant, moving, amusing, at times repelling, and now and again encourage you to stop and think a little before the message gets through. They have one thing in common, all being personal versions of the concept of freedom of young people.
In 2008, from 1 July till 15 July, the Affiche Galerij functioned as an outpost of The Hague Sculpture. The exhibition FREEDOM was open day each day free of charge from 6 hours to 24 hours. You can visit The Hague Sculpture 24/7 on the Lange Voorhout up to the beginning of September. See also the website of De Affiche Galerij.
